Private Lesson

Ages of students: 10 to Adult
Course length: Approximately one year
Class schedule: One class per week

Private Lesson is an innovative piano-style instruction for older children and adults where tradition and technology meet in harmony. With emphasis on "hands-on" learning supported by the Yamaha Clavinova® digital piano.  Private lesson provides an ideal setting in which to develop your musical creativity.

Here are a few of the things you will learn:

bullet1.gif (213 bytes) The piano pieces you've always dreamed of playing!  Music in all styles, including pop, classical, country, blues and jazz.

bullet1.gif (213 bytes) Music reading, notation and theory.
bullet1.gif (213 bytes) Ensemble playing--Group musical experiences that help develop your own playing skills
bullet1.gif (213 bytes) How to plan and evaluate.

Private Lesson students are taught according to age, musical background and goals. This flexible course can be entered at any level, depending on previous musical experience.  Your teacher has been trained by Yamaha to work with students of various ages and playing abilities and help you decide which level to join.
